About Me
Welcome to Magnolia Events! My name is Jill, and I founded this company after more than 25 years working with international organizations. My career began in Los Angeles, CA, where I planned client appreciation events, galas, weddings and celebrations for thousands of guests. In 2009, I moved to the South where I grew up to raise my daughter near family.
I’ve always loved creating and planning beautiful events. The magic that unfolds when the lighting, music, and decor come together — paired with the special smiles on guests’ faces — fills me with purpose and makes me feel truly alive. For the past 10 years, I’ve been a director at an international nonprofit, partnering with donors and volunteers to plan galas and community walks. I’ve also planned weddings and intimate celebrations along the way. I focus on giving guests a great experience from arrival to departure.
